Hi. I finally got around to figuring out a way to video call with my aunt and uncle via our webcams. We are using Skype which is so easy and simple and high quality- not to mention FREE. It's pretty awesome and I love webcamming with mi familia. I can play them songs on the guitar and my little cousins being the crazy, cute little girls they are!!!
I can't wait to webcam them later on tonight!!!!

San Diego This July....

I just bought my ticket to San Diego last night at about 11:20...
Im leaving July 9th and coming back July 30th.
I can't wait!!!!! It's gonna be AWESOME

I cannot wait for summer to come! It's going to be a blast.
I'm going down to San Diego probably July 9th and coming back up with the Avila's in the first week of August...I'm so excited!!!
I can't wait for the sun to be shining and the lake to be nice and warm. And the nights will be warm. And I can sit outside and go jump in the lake at 10 at night!!

hello again. just wanted to tell everyone about the United for One Festival on March 7th at the World Beat Center in San Diego, Calif. It'll be from 4:20 PM--1:00 AM.
a bunch of reggae bands from San Diego will be playing, including my Uncle Kenny's band: River Bottom Rockers.
This is all in memory of Kenny Diaz.

Hey all. I am home from a week and a half in San Diego. It was a fun/hard/sad time. I wish that I could still be there to help out the family, but I have to catch up on school and all that good stuff so I have said my goodbyes to the sun until May or so.
Just a quick update on all that.

We love and miss you Kenny. --Forever and Always.

Hi guys. Well if you haven't heard, my Uncle Kenny passed away in a car accident. Please pray for his soul and for all of his family and friends. This is a hard time for everyone. But it is bringing the family together. I think God sends these incidents to refresh (for lack of a better word) our faith. He wants us to feel that he is our only hope, not relying heavily on anyone else.
I'm not totally broken down, but yes, of course, I am extremely sad. I try to find the positive things, like how he is with his father now, and he is watching us. And also that God must've really wanted to have Kenny up there with him. It helps me through it all.
And being able to get to San Diego as soon as we did is a miracle through my eyes. Being here with our family has helped them and us. It is truly a time that brings us closer to each other.

Kenny was an amazing man. He had a huge heart. And he had a special place in it for everyone who passed through his life, no matter how long they stayed. He was sensitive and warm and one of a kind. There will never be anyone else on this earth that could ever be compared to him. No one could even begin to be like him. He had many friends that loved and still love him.

I haven't even been in San Diego for 12 hours and already my grandma's house has been filled with visitors, just coming to see the family. It touches all our hearts, knowing that he was so loved. I don't think anyone really knew the extent of his popularity, until now.

Kenny-- We love you and miss you very much. Our lives will never ever be the same without you. Know that we have all shed a million or two tears. Know that we will never forget you, that you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Know that in some way you have changed our lives and set a great example for each and everyone of us.
Thanks for all you did during this short life. Our lives are just a sentence in the book of life. Just remember that yours was a really amazing sentence in that book. A sentence that no one will ever forget.
